Environmental Operators
Location: Long Beach, CA/Baytown, TX

General Job Description:
A GEM MTS Operator has a wide variety of responsibilities including: transportation of the equipment to and from the job site, equipment set up, operation, breakdown of the mobile equipment. Operation of the equipment, burners, and various unique machines. All operators are given extensive training in equipment operation, maintenance, safety and other standards necessary to perform the job safely and properly.

Each operator's specific job will be tailored to their abilities, skills, experience, and willingness to learn and grow.

Supervisory positions are available for operators who prove their abilities and desire to advance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
·  Transportation of trailer mounted equipment
·  Setup, breakdown, and operation of Wastewater Treatment and Vapor Control Systems

Requirements:

·  Certificated with RSO, CPR, HAZWOPER a plus

Project Manager / Field Chemist
Location: Northern California

Description:
General Environmental Management (GEM), a full service, rapidly growing hazardous waste management firm, is looking for an Project Manager / Field Chemist based at our Rancho Cordova Facility. The Project Manager / Field Chemist position reports to the Field Services Manager.

Requirements:
This position is responsible for identifying, segregating, packaging and labeling hazardous waste for transportation and disposal. This includes completion of all regulatory paperwork, manifests, LDR’s, site safety plans and packing slips. Must be able to effectively supervise Field Technicians and subcontractors. 40 hour OSHA HZWOPR training required, Bachelors Degree or 5 years of related experience strongly preferred. EPA, DOT, and OSHA compliance knowledge is a must. Excellent driving record and ability to obtain a Class B commercial drivers license required.

Environmental Specialist - Field Position
Location: Northern California

Description:
General Environmental Management (GEM), a full service, rapidly growing hazardous waste management firm, is looking for an Environmental Chemist based at our Rancho Cordova Facility. The Environmental Specialist reports to the Field Services Manager.

Requirements:
A four year science degree is preferred. This position requires a minimum of five years experience in the environmental/hazardous waste management field and possession of a Class B license. 40 hour OSHA HZWOPR training is required.

Technical Services Representative
Location: Northern California

Position Overview
This position reports to the Technical Services Director.  The Technical Services Representative (TSR) provides technical support and expertise in the management of hazardous waste and materials.  The TSR is responsible for directly supporting the customer’s management, handling and packaging of hazardous waste via the Internet and direct communications.  The TSR is also tasks with supporting General Environmental Management, Inc. (GEM) field operations staff in accomplishing field services.  The TSR also supports the development and improvement of the Company’s web site and Internet based applications.  The TSR reviews and monitors the design and functions of these systems to ensure they operate properly, meet clients’ needs, comply with regulatory mandates and support operational requirements.

Position Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support and technical knowledge to customers
• Respond to customer inquiries concerning hazardous waste shipments and environmental regulations
• Assist customers in completing waste profile documentation
• Process all paperwork for hazardous waste shipments
• Assist in the development, review and update of all policies and procedures to reflect current laws and regulations
• Coordinate with Operations Manager to schedule waste shipment pick-ups and deliveries
• Communicate with TSDF regarding status of approval of client waste streams
• Assist in the development and maintenance of the Company’s web-site and supporting database systems with respect to gathering, management and delivery of environmental, health and safety information
• Continue on-going technical training to expand the TSR expertise and standing within the environmental, health, and safety industry

2. Timeliness in establishing waste profiles for customer waste streams

Regional General Manager
Location: Baytwon, TX

GEM Mobile Treatment, a leading national mobile tank degassing/vapor control and wastewater treatment company, serving the petroleum, petrochemical, and industrial sector, seeks a qualified individual to manage the operations in our Gulf Coast region located in the Baytown, Texas area.

Minimum requirements include: BS Engineering/Science degree, 10 yrs petroleum/industrial operations experience and management background.

Duties may include but not limited to:
- Financial responsibility for division operations, including P&L, A/R, and A/P.
- Management of operations and administrative staff
- Technical and management support of ongoing operations, sales, and marketing efforts
- Implementation of regional growth goals and objectives
- Health and Safety oversight

Performance Measures:
1. Ability to oversee division in accomplishing projects in timely manner
2. The number and extent of compliance violations
3. The profitability of the Division.
4. The length of time required to complete corrective action items

Business Development Manager
Location: Baytown, TX

Position Overview
The objective of this position is the development and expansion of GEM Mobile Treatment Services (GMTS) in an assigned regional market. The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for all sales & marketing related activities including; new business strategy/execution, presentation/proposal preparation and customer support for management of processing and treating industrial waste waters and tank degassing within an account base. This position requires an individual with proven success at developing new business and maintaining existing customer base.  In-depth market knowledge and understanding of the chemical/petroleum industrial waste is required.  This position requires a bachelor degree in sales, marketing or other related field.   


Position Responsibilities
• Sales and marketing responsibility for all commercial activity within assigned region, to increase the total number of customers and revenue per existing customer. 
• Sales and marketing activity to include direct and channel selling, telemarketing, lead generation, participation in trade organizations, cold calling and other techniques to obtain and maintain business.
• Revenue responsibilities include attainment of quota, launch of new products/services.
• Development of integrated sales strategy and planning, to include the execution and participation in research, advertising, literature and content development.
• New business responsibilities include the development and execution of market entry planning and new product/service introduction.
• Identify and establish relationships within critical market segments.
•  Development of target customers by industry, class of trade, and account specific profiling.
• Identification of promotional opportunities to provide demonstrations and outline features and benefits of company products/services.
• Leverage existing industry knowledge to establish relationships with senior level executives and key decision makers in target accounts.
• Develop and maintain high visibility with major customers and vender/alliance partners.
• Communicate crucial market, trade and competitive information.
• Champion the business needs of the marketplace, customer and sales organization to improve business results.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Management
